Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 29, 2026

Tomewyn is a reading tracker. This page explains what data it keeps, why, and how to delete it.

Who is responsible

Nassim Benbouhamou - SAASIM (SIREN no. 109 269 753), 22 rue Édouard Branly, 95360 Montmagny. Contact: bonjour@tomewyn.app.

What Tomewyn keeps

Tomewyn does not sell your data.

Advertising

Without a subscription, Tomewyn shows ads from Google AdMob: a short ad every 3 sessions (never while you read, none during the first week), and rewarded ads that you choose to watch to earn XP. Before any ad, in Europe, Google asks for your consent; you can change your mind in Settings → Ad privacy. On iPhone, ads are personalized only if you accept Apple’s tracking request (ATT). Google may process a device identifier, the IP address (approximate location) and ad interaction data: see policies.google.com/technologies/ads. To credit a rewarded ad, your Tomewyn account identifier (without email) is sent to Google, which sends it back to our servers.

Why

To make the app work (library, sessions, statistics, world to explore, reminders), to sync your data across your devices, and to give you access to Tomewyn Plus. Legal basis: performing the service you request. For personalized advertising: your consent.

Where the data goes

Photos of pages (quotes) and barcodes are read on your iPhone and are not sent anywhere. Reminders are scheduled on your iPhone.

What other readers see

Your profile is private by default: others only see your first name and username. If you make it public, or if you follow each other, they see your level, your figures, your current book and your library.

How long

As long as your account exists. When you delete it, everything is removed immediately, except what the law requires us to keep.

Your rights

From the app: export all your data (Settings → Import / export), correct your profile, delete your account (Settings → Account). For any other right (access, objection, restriction), write to bonjour@tomewyn.app. You can also contact the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr), or your local data protection authority.
